Summary
Three days for professors and lecturers on the three places generative AI touches academic work: preparing teaching material, designing assessment that still discriminates between students who have access to these tools, and giving feedback at scale without surrendering academic judgement. Verification is treated as an academic discipline throughout. Assessed by a supervised teaching-practice scenario with a defence of the academic judgements made.

Assessment history

3 rounds · published in full

  1. Round 1

    Corrections required

    14 September 2026

Assessment rested on each participant describing what they would do in class. That evidences intention, not practice, and cannot support a Level 3 claim. The student-data session also set out obligations without citing the governing instrument, so a lecturer could not check whether what they had been taught was current.

    • ACQS-03Assessment evidences stated intention rather than observed practice.
    • ACQS-01Data-protection obligations stated without source or currency date.
  2. Round 2

    Corrections required

    28 September 2026

Observed scenario added and sources cited, both accepted. The session on identifying AI-assisted student work still presented detection tools as dependable. They are not, and a lecturer taught otherwise may reach an academic misconduct finding that does not survive appeal. The programme must teach their unreliability and a proportionate first response.

    • ACQS-02Detection tools presented as reliable evidence of academic misconduct.
  3. Round 3

    Certified

    12 October 2026

Detection content rewritten to set out the limits of these tools and a defensible first response. Observed assessment carries a mandatory pass on verification and student-data handling. Independent moderator named. Certified at Level 3.

This confirms the course is certified. An individual learner's completion is a separate certificate — ask them for their own certificate number, which begins ADRIG-YYYY-.

How to verify, step by step

1

Ask for the number

Every ADRIG learner certificate carries a unique number in the format ADRIG-YYYY-XXXXXX, printed on the certificate itself. Ask the candidate to supply it — it is not personal data and can be shared freely.

2

Paste it into the box above

No account, no fee, no waiting. The register responds instantly with the learner's name, the course, the provider, the trainer, the dates and the current status.

3

Check the status and the name

Confirm the name matches your candidate and the status reads Active. Withdrawn and Expired are shown explicitly and are never hidden — a lapsed certificate cannot be passed off as current.

What verification proves

That this named learner completed a course whose curriculum and trainer ADRIG assessed, that the provider produced evidence the course was actually delivered, and that the certificate is current on the date you checked.

What it does not prove

It is not a regulated national qualification and confers no statutory licence to practise. Where a role is legally regulated, continue to require the statutory credential.

Data on the register

The learner's name, the course, provider, trainer, dates, location and status. We never publish learner email addresses, phone numbers or any other contact detail.
